Skyview DataPak Datalogger
The Skyview DataPak datalogger and its companion software, SkyMet Standard Edition , are the perfect tool for monitoring and storing data from your weather station. It works with the WMR918 or WMR928 wireless weather stations from Oregon Scientific. Data from the DataPak datalogger can be easily downloaded to your PC, at your convenience. The DataPak has been designed as a versatile platform to accommodate a wide variety of datalogging applications. The DataPak can be left to collect data for up to 3 years and configured to either stop logging or to continue logging and overwrite its old data when the memory is full.
The included software with DataPak datalogger, SkyMet, is an innovative weather recording software package specifically for weather watchers, designed to accompany Skyview's successful line of weather recording equipment. Skymet has proven to be one of their most successful products. Weather data can be easily transferred with SkyMet and this information can be easily graphed and viewed in tables. Skymet also has a unique and exciting feature; if you have access to the internet you can record data from one of over 300 other automatic stations around the United Kingdom.
Internet resources are available to enhance your enjoyment of your DataPak datalogger weather monitoring equipment, by displaying current weather images as a backdrop to your data. The SkyMet Software also includes a weather display screen. This screen shows local data input both by hand and by machine. It provides the latest available archived outdoor data for review. Remember though, this is not the real-time data; it will remain blank on a new installation until an archived record is created. The default archive interval is set to 10 minutes. Also shown at the top of the weather display screen is the database currently in use. The weather display screen also allows for review of remote data sourced from the internet.
